Bus accident kills at least nine in Lebanon

At least nine people were killed Friday when a tourist bus skidded on the Beirut-Damascus highway, Lebanese police said.
The bus was carrying mainly Lebanese religious tourists who had been in Damascus to visit a Shiite shrine.
The accident took place 14 kilometres east of Beirut. According to police the accident was caused by an oil spill on the road.
