At least seven people were killed when a bus skidded off a highway and overturned in western Sweden, rescue services said Friday. It happened near the town of Arboga, some 155 kilometres west of Stockholm, local media reported. Some 30 people were taken to local hospitals. A handful of people remained trapped in the bus several hours after the accident. The bus was carrying some 50 passengers, and initial reports suggested the group had chartered the bus to visit the popular musical Mamma Mia, based on music by ABBA, in the capital. A stretch along the highway has been closed off for other traffic to allow ambulances and rescue vehicles access to the scene. --SP 22 20 Local Time 19 20 GMT
