The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to fall on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Baha regions, as well as Makkah heights, extending to coastal parts ( Jeddah, Al-Laith and Qunfudah), while the thunderstorms, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to occur on southern parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions and some parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions will witness extreme temperatures. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly at speed of 10-25 km/h, on northern part and at speed 15-30 km/h, on central and southern parts, reaching to 45km/h, with thunderstorms, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly, gradually turning northeasterly at speed 15-30 km/h on northern parts and northeasterly to easterly, gradually turning southeasterly at speed of 20-40km/h on northern parts.
