The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on Najran, Jazan and Asir Regions as well as southern parts of Riyadh Region. Thunderstorms will also be on some parts of the Eastern Region, Riyadh, Al-Baha and the highest of Makkah Region. In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-42 km/h on the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 15-35 km/h on the southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southerly to southeasterly at a speed of 15-35 km/h.
