The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that extreme temperatures will continue on some parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions and the sky will be partly cloudy, accompanied by thunderstorms on Najran, Jazan and Asir regions, extending to Baha region, as well as southern parts of Eastern Region (the Empty Quarter) and the southern parts of Riyadh region (Wadi Al Dawasir), accompanied by active winds, in addition to reducing in horizontal sight, as some parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions will witness dust winds and the surface dusty winds will be active on the coastal road, extending from Al Laith region to Jazan region. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southwesterly to westerly at speed of 10-25 km/h on northern part and northwesterly to westerly at speed of 20-40 km/h on central and westerly to northwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southerly, gradually turning northeasterly to easterly at speed 10-25 on southern part and northerly to northeasterly gradually turning easterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-35 km/h on northern part.
