In its daily forecast for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported that moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind and fog, are expected to take place on some parts Makkah, Baha, Riyadh, Qassim and Eastern regions, as well as thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind expected to take place on some parts of Asir, Jazzan, Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Hail, Northern Borders, Jawf and Tabuk regions, while snow expected to fall on Alqan, Jabal Al-Lawz and Al-Zetah heights. The report added that the surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly, turning gradually to northwesterly at a speed of 12-35 km/h and northerly northwesterly at a speed of 10-30 on central parts of the country and southerly to southeasterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h on the southern parts, while the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly at sped of 15-45 km/h.
