The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance started today distributing a total of one million copies of the holy Quran as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on departing pilgrims via Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International airport, Red-Sea Jeddah Islamic port and other land and air outlets as well as government personnel who attended or worked in Hajj this year. In an announcement, the ministry said the gift, which comes as implementation of the Royal Directive to continue taking care of serving Islam's holy book, is published by Madina-based King Fahd Complex for Publishing the holy Quran, in different sizes and translations of 76 international languages.
