With the support of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz governorate of Yemen has provided its various medical services to 156 beneficiaries who lost their limbs from the fraternal Yemeni people during the month of May 2022. During the project, 164 services were provided, with 65% of males and 35% females, 11% of the displaced and 89% of the residents, while the prosthetic limbs were manufactured, installed and rehabilitated for 38 patients, including the delivery, measurement and maintenance of prosthetic limbs, in addition to providing physiotherapy services that varied between physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations, benefiting 118 patients. This comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects being offered by the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief to raise the capabilities of the health sector and try to alleviate the suffering of the fraternal Yemeni people.
