The Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Seiyun district of Hadhramaut governorate, Yemen, has provided its various medical services to 340 people who lost limbs from the fraternal Yemeni people during the month of May 2022 with the support of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief). As many as 1,435 services were provided to the beneficiaries with the percentage of males reaching 68% and females 32%, while the percentage of displaced people constituted 17% and the percentage of residents 83% of the total beneficiaries, while prosthetic limbs were manufactured, installed and rehabilitated for 121 patients, which included the delivery, measurement and maintenance of prosthetic limbs. Physiotherapy services were provided that varied between physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations, benefiting 219 patients.
