Backed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Prosthetics Center in Aden Governorate, Yemen, provided various medical services for 352 patients from the Yemeni people who lost their limbs, during February 2022. Throughout the project, 1,125 services were provided to beneficiaries, 78% of them were males and 22% females. While 38% of the beneficiaries were among the displaced and 62% were residents. The center's services also included manufacturing, installing, and rehabilitating prosthetic limbs for 129 patients, including delivery, measurement, and maintenance of prosthetic limbs. Physiotherapy services were also provided, ranging from physical therapy sessions to specialized consultations, benefiting 223 patients. This comes as part of the humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
