Backed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Prosthetic Limbs Center project in Marib Governorate, Yemen, has continued to provide its various medical services to the Yemeni people who lost their limbs. During the month of March 2022 AD, 2,216 services were provided to 434 beneficiaries, 87% of whom were males, 13% females, 88% displaced persons, and 12% residents. The services included the manufacture, installation and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs for 222 patients, which included the delivery, measurement and maintenance of the limbs. Physiotherapy services were also provided to 212 beneficiaries, including physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations. This project is one of the center's humanitarian interventions with a sustainable impact, and has a significant impact on helping many people to replace lost limbs, obtain physical therapy and enable them to integrate into society.
