With the support of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief), the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Aden has provided various medical services to 390 Yemeni citizens who lost limbs in December 2021. Throughout the project, 749 services were provided to beneficiaries, 75% of which were males and 25% females. While 36% of the beneficiaries were among the displaced and 64% were residents. The center's services also included manufacturing, installing, and rehabilitating prosthetic limbs for 170 patients, including delivery, measurement, and maintenance of prosthetic limbs. Physiotherapy services were also provided, ranging from physical therapy sessions to specialized consultations, benefiting 220 patients. This comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects offered by the Kingdom through the Center to raise the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni citizens.
