Speaker of IPU Concludes visit to Saudi Arabia

Senator Serjio Baez, the Speaker of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) left here today after a 3-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in response to an invitation from Chairman of the Shoura (consultative ) Council Dr Saleh Bin Humaid.
He was seen off at the airport by Secretary General of the Shoura Council Dr Hamoud Al-Badr and other officials.
Prior to his departure, Baez, in a press statement, underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Saudi Shoura Council and the IPU.
