Chairman of IPU holds press conference

The Chairman of International Parliamentary Union (IPU)Senator Serjio Baez expressed his appreciation of the development of the Saudi Shoura Council and the election of municipal councils, commending the Kingdom's progress in all fields.
In a press conference here today, he noted that the accession of the Shoura Council to IPU demonstrates the Kingdom's position in the Arab world, praising the important role being played by Saudi women in the field of their specialization.
