Minister of Health Dr Hamad Al-Mani reviewed here last night with a number of local investors in the field of medical services obstacles that impede investments in this sector. He also reviewed with them issues pertaining to the cooperative insurance document and integration of the medical services that are extended by the governmental and private hospitals. Following the meeting, Dr Al-Mani said a committee was formed to undertake studying obstacles that face investments in the medical sector. Dr Al-Mani pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is capable of implementing projects of integrated medical cities in line with the international medical standards. He noted that the Saudi Government provides investors in this field with loans equal to 50 percent of the total cost of the project in addition to a peace of land as a site for the project.
