Minister of Culture and Information Dr Fu'ad Al-Faresi has underlined the importance of the Islamic conference for the ministers of culture, which ended its deliberations here on Thursday, and said the conference had issued a number of important resolutions which would positively contribute to serving the Muslim causes. Dr Al-Faresi, who led the Saudi delegation to the conference, expressed appreciation for the patronage of the conference by Algerian President Abdulaziz Boutaflika, and the intensive efforts exerted by the Algerian officials to make the conference successful. He also lauded the efforts exerted by Dr Abdulaziz Al-Tuweijiri, the President of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) to make the conference successful.
