The sixth conference of the Islamic culture ministers has reiterated the importance of projecting the efforts of the Muslim world as regards enhancing the pillars of dialogue among followers of religions and cultures as well as the Islamic principles which reject extremism and violence. The conference approved the report submitted by Dr Abdulaziz al-Tuweijiri, the director general of ISESCO, on the efforts of ISESCO in the field of dialogue and cultural diversification as well as its role in refuting the biased campaigns again Islam and Muslims. The conference also lauded the role of ISESCO as regards confronting the phenomenon of Islam phobia. Meanwhile the conference underlined the importance of coordination among the media institutions in the member states in this respect.
