Syrian President receives ISESCO's Chief

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received here today Dr Abdulaziz bin Othman al-Tuweijiri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), who is currently visiting Syria.
Speaking on the occasion, al-Assad lauded the great efforts being exerted by ISESCO for spreading the culture of justice and peace as well as for enhancing dialogue among cultures and civilizations and development of sciences and technology.
The Syrian President ordered awarding Dr al-Tuweijiri the Syrian merit medal of the excellent grade in recognition of his significant role in spreading culture and sciences at the Arab, Islamic and international arenas.
