Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Lower, at 8,538.68 Points

The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading lower here today, losing 148.21 points to close, at 8,538.68 points.
The total value of the trading reported was SR13 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 482 million, divided into over 590,000 deals.
While the stocks of only 5 companies ended the trading higher, 203 companies' shares slumped.
Thus, the decliners overwhelmingly outnumbered the advancers.
On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 04.15% to 09.95%.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day to the other direction, gaining 335.78 points to close, at 20,664.23 points.
Valuation, at NOMU was SR49 million, with an overall tally of 475,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,104 deals.
