The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 46.09 points to close, at 8,572.73 points. The total value of the trading reported was SR14 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 551 million, divided into over 664,000 deals. While the stocks of 100 companies ended the trading higher, 87 companies' shares slumped. On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 09.94% and 05.11%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day higher, too, gaining 913.50 points, to close, at 21,100.91 points, with a valuation of SR20 million and an overall tally of more than 183,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 728 deals.
