Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8,155.31 Points

Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 0.72 points to close, at 8,155.31 points.
The total value of the trading reported was over SR11.3 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 495 million, divided into over 525,000 deals.
While the stocks of 90 companies ended the trading higher, 96 companies' shares slumped.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 1,008.53 points, to close, at 14,889.55 points, with a valuation of more than SR35 million and an overall tally of more than 380,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,230 deals.
