Saudi Stock Exchange's main index closed higher here today, gaining 90.27 points to end trading, at 7,626.23 points. The total value of the trading reported was over SR7.6 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 380 million, divided into as many as 320,000 deals. While the stocks of 144 companies ended the trading with high values, 45 companies' shares slumped. In terms of the spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranges from 9.92% to 4.09%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) closed higher, too, gaining 18.93 points to end trading over 8,196.13 points, with a valuation over SR13 million and a tally of more than 240,000 traded stocks, divided into 749 deals.
