The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC ) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf made a telephone call today to Yemen's Prime Minister Dr. Mueen Abdulmalik Saeed during which they discussed the latest developments in Yemen. During the conversation, Al-Hajraf confirmed that the GCC countries will remain supportive to Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy according to the GCC initiative, the outcomes of the national dialogue and UN security council's resolution No. 2216. For his part, the Yemeni prime minister lauded the noble and pioneering positions of the GCC towards Yemen, citing their adamant stand by the side of the Yemeni people during tough times and their keenness to achieve security and stability for Yemen and its people.
