Prince Khalid Bin Salman, deputy minister of defense, Friday met with Yemen President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi. Prince Khalid conveyed to the Yemeni president the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense. During the meeting, Prince Khalid affirmed the Kingdom's firm and supportive stance to Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy under the leadership of President Hadi so that security, peace and stability would prevail in accordance with the recognized peace references as GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism in addition to the outcomes of the national dialogue, relevant UN resolutions and foremost of which is resolution 2216. Prince Khalid stressed that the security of Yemen is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reiterating the Kingdom's permanent position in supporting legitimacy to counter the rebellion and coup of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias and to maintain its unity, security and stability. Prince Khalid also praised the Yemeni president's keenness on dialogue to address the issues along with his efforts for its success. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Saeed Al Jaber and from Yemeni side, Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, Prime Minister Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik and a number of officials. — SPA
