Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, yesterday met with President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi of Republic Yemen. Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz conveyed to the Yemeni President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. During the meeting, Prince Khalid bin Salman affirmed the Kingdom's firm and supportive stance to Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy under the leadership of President Hadi so that security, peace and stability would prevail in accordance with the recognized peace references as GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism in addition to the outcomes of the national dialogue, relevant UN resolutions and foremost of which is resolution 2216, stressing that the Security of Yemen is an integral part of the Security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reiterating the Kingdom's permanent position in supporting legitimacy to counter the rebellion and coup of the Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militias and to maintain its unity, security and stability. The Deputy Minister of Defense also praised the Yemeni President's keenness on dialogue for addressing the issues along with his efforts for its success. The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Saeed Al Jaber and from Yemeni side, Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik and a number of officials.
