Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8,544.94 Points

Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 31.68 points to close, at 8,544.94 points.
The total value of the trading reported was over SR13.2 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 470 million, divided into over 500,000 deals.
While the stocks of 93 companies ended the trading higher, 97 companies' shares slumped.
In terms of the percentage spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranged from 10.00% to 06.35%.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day losing 86.36 points, to close, at 14,708.26 points, with a valuation of more than SR32 million and an overall tally of more than 430,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,354 deals.
