SAGO Issues Tender to Import 540,000 Tons of Barley

Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) announced today that it has issued the sixth tender for the year 2020 to import 540,000 tons of barley to be supplied during the period of November -December 2020.
Governor of SAGO Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Fares stated that the amount specified in the tender is distributed to 9 ships including 7 ships for Saudi ports on the Red Sea and 2 ships for Saudi ports in the Arabian Gulf.
The Governor also said that this tender comes within the organization's plan to maintain the strategic reserve of barley and meet the local demand.
