SAGO Issues Tender to Import 900,000 Tons of Feed Barley

Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) announced today that it has issued the first tender for the year of 2020 to import 900,000 tons of feed barley to be supplied during the period of March-April 2020.
Eng. Ahmad A. Al-Fares, Governor of Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO), stated that the amount specified in the tender is distributed to 15 ships; 11 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea, and 4 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Arabian Gulf. The Governor also said that this tender comes as an extension to the efforts of meeting the local demand and maintaining the strategic reserve of feed barley.
