SAGO Issues Tender to Import 750,000 Tons of Feed Barley

Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) announced today that it has issued the second tender for the year of 2020 to import 750,000 tons of feed barley to be supplied during the period of May-June 2020.
Governor of SAGO Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Fares stated that the amount specified in the tender is distributed to 12 ships; 8 ships with the amount of 480,000 tons for the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea , and 4 ships with the amount of 240,000 tons for the Kingdom's ports on the Arabian Gulf.
The Governor also said that this tender comes as an extension to the efforts of meeting the local demand and maintaining the strategic reserve of feed barley.
