SAGO Issues Tender to Import One Million Tons of Feed Barley

Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) announced today that it has issued the sixth and last tender for the year of 2019 to import 1,020,000 tons of feed barley to be supplied during the period of February-March 2020.
Eng. Ahmad A. Al-Fares, Governor of Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO), stated that the amount specified in the tender is distributed to 17 ships; 13 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea, and 4 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Arabian Gulf. The Governor also said that this tender comes as an extension to the efforts of meeting the local demand and maintaining the strategic reserve of feed barley.
