Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) has completed procedures for importing 900,000 tons of Feed barley from the European Union, Australia, the Black Sea, North and South America; except Canada, to be supplied during the period of March-April 2020, which represent the first batch of 2020. Governor of SAGO Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Fares stated today that the amount specified in the tender is distributed to 15 ships; 11 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea, and 4 ships for the Kingdom's ports on the Arabian Gulf. The Governor also said that this tender comes as an extension to the efforts of meeting the local demand and maintaining the strategic reserve of feed barley.
