King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1,865 mines during the first week of February 2020, including 11 antipersonnel mines, 360 anti-tank, 1,493 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device. Since the beginning of the project, 129,348 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by the Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly, the Saudi project "Masam" in Yemen aims to clear the Yemeni territories of mines.
