King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1528 mines during the first week of November 2019, including 9 antipersonnel mines, 438 anti-tanks, 1061 unexploded ordnances and 20 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, 103,737 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly.
