King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1286 mines during the third week of January 2020, including 11 antipersonnel mines, 354 anti-tank, 908 unexploded ordnance and 13 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, 124,286 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly.
