King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1611 mines during the third week of November 2019, including 12 antipersonnel mines, 492 anti-tanks, 1092 unexploded ordnance and 15 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, 107,006 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly.
