Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the outcomes of the 40th summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held yesterday in the capital Riyadh have reflected the stability and steadfastness of the GCC in the face of challenges and any attempts against its unity and stability. The paper added that the GCC summit stressed in its final communique that GCC's key goal is to achieve integration and interdependence among its countries, which was already confirmed by the GCC leaders, in addition to what was also urged by the GCC Secretary-General of necessity support of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with regard to its endeavors for stability of the oil market.
