Supervisor General of King Abdulaziz Public Library Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia assured that the patronizing and inauguration by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of King Abdulaziz Public Library at Peking University last year gave a cultural and civilizational motive to strengthen communications between the two countries. This came in the Supervisor General's speech on the launching of the library's cultural and civilizational activities during a ceremony recently organized by Riyadh-based King Abdulaziz Public Library in association with Peking University in the presence of the University's President Dr. Lin Jianhua, Saudi Ambassador to The People's Republic of China Turki bin Mohammed Al-Madhi, and a number of officials.
