Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), received at his office in Riyadh today a delegation of the GCC countries news agencies, who held earlier in the day their 20th meeting at the General Secretariat of the GCC. During the meeting, Al-Hussein told the GCC media delegation that SPA transmits more than 600 news stories per day dealing with politics, culture, society and sports as well as other press reports in Arabic, English, French, Russian and Chinese languages in addition to photo transmission. Benefiting from the flow of social media, SPA's New Information Department, opted to expand the circuit of its customers across the social media channels, including tweeter, face book, telegram, Instagram and you tube. Memorial shields were presented by Al-Hussein to his guests. Following the meeting, they toured the new 10-floor building, one of Riyadh's most marvelous architectural edifices, which includes the news transmission apparatus and the media center.
