Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan have strong and deep relations binding the two countries and there is a coordination council taking care of the two countries' great joint interests, including the security field through combating terrorism or smuggling as well as a political coordination regarding the peace process in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Al-Jubeir added that Jordan is among the states supporting the Kingdom's stances, pointing out that there is an existing consultation and coordination between the two countries. This came in a press conference held today by Al-Jubeir with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants and Envoy of the King of Jordan Nasser Judeh. Al-Jubeir stressed that the two countries seek to strengthen and intensify coordination, which was established between the two countries, expressing his satisfaction on the progress made by the coordination council through enhancing and intensifying cooperation and consultation between the two kingdoms in all fields. The minister of foreign affairs looks forward to the success of the Arab Summit to be held in Jordan on next March. --More
