Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on Sunday, discussed with UN envoy Staffan de Mistura, the latest developments in Syria, the political transition in the country and the Geneva talk. Judeh and De Mistura highlighted the need to ensure the success of the talks scheduled to be held between the Syrian government and the opposition in Geneva next Wednesday to achieve political solution in Syria. Judeh reiterated Jordan's stance to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis that preserves the country's security and unity. He stressed the importance of achieving a comprehensive political solution based on UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and Geneva 1 resolutions as well as the statements issued by the International Syria Support Group during its meetings in Vienna, New York and recently in Munich. The Un envoy voiced keenness to continue coordination and consultations with Jordan.
