Saudi Accreditation Committee has won a full membership in Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Organization (APLAC), after obtaining approval from three-quarters of the member countries in the accreditation bodies of the Organization. The Spokesman for Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO),Tames Al-Hammadi pointed out that the Committee's obtaining of this membership is an important step towards the strategic goal that it seeks for the international recognition, in which it gets acceptance of reports issued from accredited conformity assessment bodies of the Committee in all Member States of the organization, which reflects positively on the national economy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the facilitation of trade exchange.
