General index of the cost of living of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in last November recorded an increase of 2.5%, compared to the same month of 2013, due to the increase of 11 of the main departments constituting the general index of cost of living in their standard indicators. In its monthly report to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) said that the recreation and culture sector topped sections witnessed increases in last November by (8.6%), followed by the sector of furnishing and maintaining homes and sector of health by (3.5%) each, then the sector of food and beverages by (3.1%) and the sector of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and the sector of goods and miscellaneous services by 2.7% each. Moreover, the sector of tobacco recorded an increase by 2.6%, followed by sector of clothing and footwear by (1.7%), the sector of transportation by (1.1%), the sector of restaurants and hotels by (1.0%) and the sector of education by (0.5%), while the sector of Telecommunications recorded a decrease by (1.1%). --More 12:21 LOCAL TIME 09:21 GMT تغريد
