The U.S. State Department on Monday confirmed that Poland continued to be an important partner to the United States. "The United States and Poland have an incredibly strong relationship," State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf said during the daily press briefing. "This is a relationship based on shared values. It remains strong. It is a key part of our alliances in that part of the world," Harf told reporters. "And the crisis in Ukraine has made that even more the case, where we are confronting a shared threat together," Harf added.
