Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. The Minister of Culture and Information , Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja , said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet was briefed on a number of reports on the latest developments and situations in the region and the world. The Cabinet expressed its appreciation for the decisions taken by the Arab League Council at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in its emergency meeting to discuss the developments of the Palestinian issue, stressing the call of the Arab foreign ministers on the United States to continue its efforts to resume the track of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and to oblige the Israeli side to implement its commitments and obligations to the peace process references in accordance with the agreed timetable. The Cabinet expressed concern of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the deterioration of the human rights situation in a number of countries around the world , including the continuing human rights violations in Syria, the deterioration of the human rights situation in Rakhine state with a Muslim majority in Myanmar, and the current crisis in the Central African Republic resulted in nutritional crisis affected about a third of the population, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop these crimes against humanity in these areas and to hold accountable those responsible, and the importance of concerted international efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the needy people. --More 15:17 LOCAL TIME 12:17 GMT تغريد
