The Board of Directors of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) held its third meeting at the headquarters of the Agency in Riyadh today under the chairmanship of the Minister of Culture and Information and the Board's Chairman Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja. At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Khoja welcomed all members of the Board, commending the Agency and its staff and wishing them further progress in the Kingdom and abroad. Then, the President of Saudi Press Agency and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein reviewed the most important results achieved so far since the Board's previous meeting. The Board discussed the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions including the approval of the proposed structure of the Saudi Press Agency and its Organizational Guide and authorized the SPA President to complete their submission to the competent authorities. The Board was briefed on the report of the external auditor about the Agency's accounts for the fiscal year 1434/1435 AH and approved the final account of the Agency for that year as well as the Agency's annual report. It also approved authorizing the SPA President to complete the discussion between (SPA) and a number of world news agencies and the signing of memorandums of cooperation with these agencies. The Board also approved a number of promotions at various ranks at the Saudi Press Agency , and amending the vacant post at the Agency No (4) Grade (51) from the Director General of the Saudi Press Agency to ( Vice-President of the Saudi Press Agency) and assigning Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Awadh to this post. The meeting was attended by President of Saudi Press Agency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein , Vice Chairman of the Board, and members Engineer Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Moghailith, representative of the Ministry of Culture and Information, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Junaidel, representative of the Ministry of Finance, Mohammed bin Ali al-Khudhair, and Abdulwahab bin Mohammed Al-Fayez.
