The officials of news agencies of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States concluded today their 16th meeting at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh. The officials congratulated the Minister of Culture and Information, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Commission of Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, on the issuance of the Cabinet's decision to transform Saudi Press Agency to General Commission. They also congratulated Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein on the issuance of the royal order appointing him as President of Saudi Press Agency. The officials discussed topics on their agenda and took relevant decisions. The officials included President of Saudi Press Agency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, Director of Bahrain News Agency Muhannad Suleiman; Chairman of Board of Directors of Kuwait News Agency and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah; Acting Director General of Oman News Agency Dr. Mohammed Al-Araimi, Chief-Editor and Director General of Qatar News Agency Ahmed Al-Buainain; and Representative of Emirates News Agency Jamal Nasser.
