Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Commission, Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja, the President of the Saudi Press Agency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein has signed with the Chief Executive Officer of Baud Telecom Company Alawi Mohammed Baroum a contract for the infrastructure equipment for the SPA new building, including the network of automated systems, the equipping of the Computer Center, and a backup electricity network. The total value of the contract amounts to SR 19,073,185 (nineteen million, seventy-three thousand, and one hundred and eighty-five riyals) and the implementation period is six months starting from the site's receipt date. It is noteworthy that the SPA new building is located on an area of 10,000 (ten thousand) square meters in Al-Sihafah neighborhood on King Fahd Road, consisting of ten floors and an integrated media center; and it is considered as one of milestones in the city of Riyadh.
