Saudi Crown Prince : My visit to India comes within the framework of the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to consolidate cooperation between the two countries
Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, started today an official visit to the Republic of India at the invitation of Vice President of the Republic of India Mohammed Hamid Ansari. The Crown Prince said upon his arrival in New Delhi that he is pleased to visit India and convey the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He indicated that this visit comes within the framework of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to consolidate cooperation between the two countries in all fields and enhance consultation and coordination between them on regional and international issues of common concern, noting that the relations between the two countries have witnessed a great qualitative leap after the two historical visits of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to India in 2006 and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the Kingdom in 2010. The Crown Prince pointed out that the two visits founded joint working programs for the development of relations which the leaderships of the two countries are keen on implementing them to meet the aspirations of the two peoples and enhance the common interests of the two friendly countries.
