The King's two historical visits to the Republic of Turkey in 1427 AH and 1428 AH had the greatest impact on achieving a distinguished leap in all areas and at various levels in Saudi-Turkish relations. This visit comes as a continuation of the approach of contacts and the common desire to develop and enhance the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and consult on issues of common concern. I would like to express my thanks for the warm reception accorded to me and the accompanying delegation which reflects the depth of ties and relations between our two countries based on brotherhood and common historical and cultural bonds, praying to Allah Almighty to help us all for the benefit of our peoples of the two countries and the Islamic nation".
