Border Guard Foils Attempt to Smuggle Hashish, 4 M Narcotic Pills, in 3 Months

Border Guard land as well as maritime patrols managed to foil attempts to smuggle as many as 8829 kg. of Hashish, more than 4 million narcotic pills and 700,000 kg. of chewing Qat, within three months.
Statistics showed capturing 1289 traffickers from 9 different nationalities, capturing 100,414 infiltrators tried to slip, illegally, into or outside the Kingdom, foiling 1146 attempts to sumggle weapons and 29,839 of live ammunition, the Information Spokesman of the Border Guard Brig. General Mohammed bin Saad Al-Ghamdi stated.
